SWIM training at WASCAL
From 18th to 20th February 2019, the WASCAL Competence Center at Ouagadougou was hosting a two and a half day workshop introducing the SWIM model. The SWIM application course was given by Hagen Koch (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research - PIK) for attendees from the Volta Basin Authority (VBA), West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) and the Women Environmental Program - Burkina Faso (WEP-BF). The participants through this training learned new skills on the use of the Soil and Water Integrated Model (SWIM), developed at PIK.
